2003 Klondike Derby

On the 25th of January, ten scouts from Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack 201 attended the annual Klondike Derby at Camp Merz. The Derby was hosted by Order of the Arrow Lodge 165. There were several different events for the scouts to participate in, including memorization, squeezing ten people onto a three foot box, skiing, firestarting, blind mazes, and a sled race. In the race, Troop 126 from Mayville won with their two dogsleds. Although it was cold and deep in snow, most everyone had a fun time.
