Westfield Bicentennial Parade

On the Saturday morning of July 20th, Troop 201 along with several other groups of Westfield and the surrounding area joined together to celebrate the 200th year of the town of Westfield. The parade was only one of many events that happened over the weekend, including a talent show of sorts in Moore Park, and a dedication of a marker to the old Portage Trail. The Troop joined forces with our local Cub Scout Pack (see website) to show the history of our country on a flatbed trailer supplied by Fairview Farms. Other parade items included fire trucks, bands, and other youth organizations. The Bicentennial was a joyful event, and fun for all ages.
